Thanks everyone!

Amy and her husband were also very generous with their donations and will hopefully help us lug the goods over when they go to pick up their children! :)

The Fundraiser

We didn't get many pictures taken because we were having way too much fun but Darrel did get us a few. I think 15 if the 20 pics were of him! At least he got his cute wife in this one! :)This one had to be posted because it was the only one Sean was in. What dorks! :)

Most of the girls that attended were in this picture but a few were camera shy. Some of the girls you can see are not shy at all! Can you guess who I am?
The real reason for the party...goodies for the children.

This is the total amount of donations we have collected and money!

What a party! We have received so many donations I think we are going to stop collecting items for a bit until we can find some Colorado families traveling to Toukoul that might be able to help us. If you are reading this and are traveling please contact us! :)

More really?!?!?

Sean's co-worker Nate Kenworthy and his girlfriend Rachel Palmer donated money towards supplies! Thanks!! :)

We now have 4 full bins!! Our friends Allie and Charlie came over last night to drop off all these goodies since they will be unable to attend the party. We just love them so much we couldn't wait to post these pictures!! I don't think I have it in me to itemize all the things they brought over since it was over 50 items but a pictures worth a 1000 words, right!

Dear Family and Friends,

We have the most amazing opportunity to visit Toukoul orphanage located in the central part of Ethiopia and deliver supplies directly to them. What we have seen in Africa still haunts us. The extreme poverty that is all around broke our hearts and will forever be burned into our souls. So many people in Africa have so little-nothing really. Nothing as in NOT a thing. Nothing. Period. Yet the spirit and smiles of the people that I encountered humbled me. Once again we have the opportunity to get much needed supplies to a very large orphanages in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia . We have set a goal to fill 20 bins with the items listed below. No small task indeed but we have time on our side. Also, we have vowed that we will hand deliver each bin to its location. It will cost approximately $200 to get each bin to Ethiopia . We are looking for people or organizations to "sponsor" each tote by donating the money needed to deliver a bin full of supplies. We will take as much as we possibly can because these kids NEED and DESERVE it. After all, they are just children. They did not choose this fate-to be an orphan with nothing of their own living in an orphanage with hundreds of other children...no mom or dad to kiss them goodnight, to help them when they are sick or hurt...no one to chase away the monsters under the bed when they have a bad dream. They are all precious boys and girls who deserve every basic need to be met, yet because of where they are, don't have that. Heartbreaking. Will you help us? Will you be the person who changes the life of a child that lives half a world away, yet will be so blessed because you chose to help us gather some things or raise money?
We are HAND DELIVERING each bin to its destination. This will allow us to be certain that they arrive safely and we can see first hand the children that we are helping. We will also be taking tons of pictures to share with you so you can see how your donation impacted the lives of so many. We will meet you half way to pick up items, you can mail them, drop them off, or call us and we can find a way to get them here.

Below is the list of what we are trying to focus on right now. However, feel free to step away from the list and donate what you feel led you to donate. This is just a place to start.

Below you will see a video bar that will have many videos of Toukoul Orphanage and on the side a few pictures.

100% of the donations will go to help Toukoul orphanage. This orphanage’s main location is in Addis Ababa but has many satellite orphanages throughout the country in rural areas that would not be helped otherwise. Send us an e-mail if you want to help: Theloweryclan@gmail.com or you can reach us at (303) 437-0723. Make a HUGE difference in the life of a child with a small act of kindness.

Thank you very much,

Tracy and Sean Lowery
